Torsion Spring Panels
Made to fit industry standard grid systems from Armstrong and USG, with no visible hardware, perforated or solid metal options. See Chemetal finish choices below.
All Chemetal: Ceiling torsion spring panels are designed to work with a USG or Armstrong Torsion Spring ceiling grid to provide superior alignment, a clean, no-reveal look that completely hides the suspension system and provides easy access to plenum areas. We added stiffener aluminum cross bars to provide added rigidity. Suitable for pods, islands and clouds, wall-to-wall ceilings, low sloped ceilings, and new construction. Panels are 1.5” high and 2’ x 2’ and 2’ x 4’ to match your grid. Custom sizes available.
Bent Edge Ceiling Panels
The same panels as above, offered without torsion spring hardware, bent 90 degrees with 1.5” edge to aid fastening, if needed. Perforated or otherwise. Fastening hole option. These cleated ceiling panels are designed to fasten to an existing hard lid ceiling, especially plywood. See Chemetal finish choices (in Flat Cut section) below.
Backlit Ceiling Panels
Chemetal can provide the complete, ready to install backlit panel construction which includes metal panel(s), diffuser panel, LED lighting insert panel. These can be torsion spring panels or otherwise.
Acoustic Ceiling Panels
Chemetal can provide the complete, ready to install acoustic panel construction which includes metal panel(s), and the acoustic buffer material inserts. These can be torsion spring panels or otherwise.
Our metal acoustic ceiling panels are backed with a fabric-wrapped polypropylene honeycomb sound-damping sheet for low natural harmonics. Style…and sound control.
Flat Cut Ceiling Panels
2’ x 2’ and 2′ x 4′ or custom-sized Chemetal flat metal pieces that “drop in” to common exposed grid systems. Flat cut ceiling panels work with most of 900 and 600 series, plus Waterworld and Transparency. Reach out to our sales team with any questions.
